Welcome to cleaverb.net in October 2009!
Halloween has always been my favorite season ,it seems this year there have been plenty of great
movies on the cable networks. The weekend started with a tribute to the Alien movie series on
AMC ,
and later we the watched the comical 1985 horror flick,
The Return of the Living Dead."Fresh brains!" Afternoon saturday brought us Poltergeist on
Turner Classic Movies.
In this century, my favorite include Signs and War of the Worlds...
(which are both pretty good deals at under $1 on amazon right now)
but it's also fun to watch some Mystery Science Theatre 3000 re-runs
(can watch online at NetFlix with your suscription) .
I think possibly we went too heavily into our Artist Index in september.
So we are hoping to return to our music interests in the near future. But for now, we are enjoying
many, many great movies on television and online.
Of course, Geo Cities will be closing down, and within a few days we will open our
Retro-Mania 2009 pages to the public. We added a few tribute pages; just could not find any suitable
pages to reproduce. I'll have to say that they are basic pages dedicated to some of my early
influences in sci-fi -
Dr San Guinary and
Dr Who.

The month is half over, and we're working away on our 'new' retro-mania pages...
We didn't get to the music update, but we do have a sneak-peek at one of our projects:
TV Corner.
There are over 300 pages in this section, which is the bulk of our recent work. We shall have more 'retro' in November...
TV Corner and several sections will become permanent features on cleaverb.org

It seems a little late, to realize we didn't finish our a to z list in September. We were not satisfied with the
short list on some pages. And after 'auditioning' over 1000 artists, we needed a break.
The title will be changed; there is a world full of AtoZ lists.Like, cleaverb's artist index.Maybe.
And then. Well, we found some great pages for our Retro-Mania section. Actually, over 400 pages.
This years theme will be 'classic' TV and movies; including many of the familiar early 20th century performers.
Silent movies, black and white movies, and a huge section on television shows from the 40s to the 80s.
We are excited, and we have to wait until the 31st before we can unveil our works...but many will be permanent
additions to our websites. There may be a 'sneak-peek' coming.
Oh and, we are working on a 'halloween' theme for later this month!
We will bring some new music in our next update
