VIA-Gra appears to be releasing a new CD in November. Can't remember where we read
the 'november' part. But there is a discussion as to what will be on the compilation.

PeC MySpace.
It seems that Sopho Khalvashi is either reviving her domain, or someone has bought the domain name.Last week, it had a 'coming soon'
picture.Today, it displays a company website. We are completely defeated to think of a reason why anyone would do this.
Tina Karol has also been updating Tinas MySpace
featuring her latest singles,and new pictures.

As the year counts down, more artists are adding their own 'official' YouTube channels . We should begin adding links to
those pages in the artist Spotlights,soon.
You will notice that we have added music via Imeem to the spotlights. We have used the feature several times already.
And it seems like a great idea, for those who have an Imeem account. Do yourself a favor, and sign up.
We noticed that if you are not signed in to the place, the songs only play a 30 second preview.
Yet, if you sign in, you will hear the whole song. Even greater, if you click the song title(in the media player),
the song will open in a new tab or window. the bonus is that when the song finishes, it will play other songs by the artist!!!
And speaking of playlists, some of you may have noticed that we are not running a flash player on our sites.
It is refreshing to just come online and type away, without the task of uploading the 'latest' songs.
And it never was that popular, anyway. There will be times when we will utilize a player, but for now we are going
to just give links to YT and Imeem ...

It's that time of year when Halloween, and the scary movie take center stage.
My latest is
Nochnoi Dozor,
or Night Watch . Of course, with the cameo Blestyashchie appearance,
and Janna Friske part, makes for a great flick. Found myself singing along to Ah Ya Vse Letala a few times.
... On the american side,
Carrie
is a classic from the 1970s. More rare are the original
Nightstalker
series,
and the movie
Gargoyles.
That one always scared me on the late-night Fright shows....
The resurgence of Halloween
series movies is a nice change from the
Friday the 13th
usual fare.
And speaking of early 1980s movies,
The Burning
is worth at least one viewing. It plays upon
the summer camp theme. We had not seen it before; it just happened to be showing on the IFC
(cable TV) channel.
There is no shortage of more recent scary movies, most are just too graphic or CGI for our tastes.
However, recommend
Planet Terror ,
a good ol' flesh-eating zombie tale... wish we could remember more titles.
And we never resist the temptation to watch Godzilla trample Tokyo ! It's good to see all my
artists webpages are working again. I know my VIA-Gra page needs update. I have the pictures ready,
and just have not taken the time to update. If you didn't know,
Vera Brezhneva
released some solo
material earlier in the year. She is also hosting a popular talent show on Russian television.
