Hello and welcome to cleaverb.com!
I can hear it now: you FINALLY get back on cleaverb.com, and all you see is a black background with some text. Due to some technical problems beyond my control, we have been off the air since January . I'm not going to waste our time with an explanation. We are back, and that is what matters most !
In the past, we have tried to have a featured artist,along with some
samples of their music. Thank you for the suggestions and e-mails !
As you can see, we have changed our appearance...and so it seems
natural that a theme change is due. Yet we promise to keep that
keen wit, and the eye focused on the incredible talent that does not reach
into our american shores.
I started out buying Russian pop music to get a feel for the language, and the popular culture. Naturally Via-Gra was a favorite here. Via-Gra has the distinction of receiving the most requests,on cleaverb. The group Total was an "unsung" favorite:nobody ever requested more,
but the "bandwidth" usage for cleaverb.com would always increase when their material
was featured here. I guess that some of my favorite writing was the "blog" type of page 2 stuff,
"talk of the town",and my page three "coming soon" .
The pictures and the music were always the key element here. I liked the clean appearance of the split page design.It also came in handy to 'make up' for my lack of http skills.A couple pictures, a few links to the songs, and a short text were three simple elements.
But the time has come when I want more than music, my other interests, such as bicycling or computers will now get equal treatment here. So for this week, I am going to do some 'spring cleaning'. Dumping my old pictures and web pages . And we shall start fresh.
