After waiting a few years for new material from Technoir and Total,
both release new CDs within one month !
My mind is orbiting around Mars here lately,but it seems like I have
been more down to earth in terms of focus.
Music is a universal language; full of human emotion . . .
what better way to understanding is there, than to grasp a part of a culture,
and to find that we all share common ground in our daily lives.
All 4 CDs are complete works of art; from the first note to the last note.
Delicately crafted with love and precision,in fine detail !
Helena and Leslie have shown me greatness, in a way never before perceived!
They are a welcome addition to my collection, as I add more material in
the upcoming months...
We have not been updating cleaverb main page as often as in the past.
The recent purchases page is the most updated page..yet as we ponder what
material or artists to pursue next, there may be a slowdown in new material.
Our next project will be to add more information about my "all-time" favorite
groups. More likely, we will focus on music of the 21st century, as we try to
stop looking back to earlier decades, and look to the future.
Also, there should be updates to the YouTube various artists page,pretty soon.
Now, on with the show.
A friend 'loaned' me an mp3 copy of Helena Paparizou / The Game of Love
and it was my favorite music to end 2006...she is a complete artist.
After much time and a little frustration with finding the CD, I settled
for purchasing it from a seller in England.Two weeks later, it arrived!
Next up, found a high quality set of mp3 copy of Total: /2[Moy Mir] ...
they are my 'ultimate' russian rock group! The follow-up to their
first CD carries on their near genious rock n' roll sound, to perfection.
I have tried, and failed to 'buy' this CD.Maybe later this summer,I'll get it.
And a couple of weeks later,
I found an mp3 set of Technoir / Deliberately Fragile CD,
the first new release of 2007 ! The music is pretty good.
Good enough,that I pre-ordered the CD on Amazon...first time ever pre-order.
Their sound is so massively improved,
it's breath-taking.
So after spending January buying up all my favorite CDs of the last
half of 2006, in February I 'discovered' the French popstar Leslie,
whose L'Amour En Vol CD was released in November 2006.
First time for me buying up a french popstars' music,
Leslie is simply Astounding !
