talk of the town
I have to say - I still get excited listening to Blestyaschie / Za Chetyre Morya CD in my car ! I keep thinking, 'I should listen to this on the home stereo' but then always think its better to have something enjoyable for driving. Each song is great;I only skip the karaoke mixes and maybe 1 or 2 of the remixes. I was reading about how these girls,'The Shining Ones'= Blestiashchie survive because they are so good looking. IMO the humor behind the music is fun, and the music is cheerful. You will not hear a 'tear-jerker' song from Blestyaschie . And at the same time, there is a serious side to the music- I absolutely love the piano parts in Moskovskia Okna . It is simple, and elegant. I had to download a few russian tracks in mp3 - Nepara, Fabrika,Glukosa, and Katya Lyel. I was looking for Kirkorov, and have not found their E Ti Skozhech song. And I came across someone saying that Katya L is horrible. She has this jazz sound now, after a few middle of the road CDs. So it crossed me up, because I was seriously going to feature her this week. And Nepara s Druguya Prichina is the song I have grown 'too attached to' . Man that song has feelings... it is a bit dark . But the driving beat, the vocals, everything is pretty good. :) Killer more like it .Look for that to be on my site,in the future. Moy Marmelaudnia by Katya Lel(her picture below, left) is another. Now this is another 'jazz' song that I fall deeply in love with . As for Katya, well, she did some great videos for the song, as well as Musi Pusi .She is another artist, who I saw pictures of, and never thought that much of, until I see/hear the material.
Oooo, and finally I had to view Tanya Bulanova in her video for Belaya Cheryomoha. And Kristina O, and its hard to say who I love more,,, as these things go ... see ya .
