coming soon
I finally got around to buying the Technoir / Groundlevel CD . It just happened that my favorite Amazon seller had it !!! Another CD I had downloaded the songs from - Scissor Sisters /debut is another purchase this week. I was enjoying listening to their music.Reminds me of Elton John, 70s style.
Yes,it inspired me to get Eltons' Goodbye Yellow Brick Road CD . And let us hope you never run out of Stevie Wonder . His music is just incredible-My Cherie Amor, Superstition , wow. To bring you up to date- I have finally started saving my trusty old LPs to computer. Yes, I did save them in MP3.But now, I have this idea that .wav files are so much better sounding. And so,the rare and hard to find songs from the 1970s are taking up the most part of my time these days. And I will repeat here what I laready knew-LPs had a good sound quality to them. If you didn't grow up listening to 'records' as we called them, and you only listened to CDs ...now you know. A worthy mention is that I have this collection of @ 25 old K-Tel and Ronco LPs, and tons of interesting finds on them. I don't mind the scratchy sounds,I am used to that. and to end this column, my technoir CD is still on back order ...
