To bring you up to date- I have finally started saving my trusty old LPs to computer. Yes, I did save them in MP3.But now, I have this idea that .wav files are so much better sounding. And so,the rare and hard to find songs from the 1970s are taking up the most part of my time these days. And I will repeat here what I laready knew-LPs had a good sound quality to them. If you didn't grow up listening to 'records' as we called them, and you only listened to CDs ...now you know. A worthy mention is that I have this collection of @ 25 old K-Tel and Ronco LPs, and tons of interesting finds on them. I don't mind the scratchy sounds,I am used to that. and to end this column, my technoir CD is still on back order ...
