Merry Christmas ! As we find our way into the final week of 007,
we at cleaverb decided it was time to go wild...and present you with a short
'album oriented' AOR style of playlist.
None of these songs have probably not been getting airplay. Only on cleaverb !
will you hear this list of hidden gems .. but then, there is always hope.
We would like to believe that these songs represent a true art, a style unique to
the artists. Songs with feeling,great vocals, and great instrumentation to highlight
the efforts of the best in the world. This is not the average mindless pop star music.
This is an indepth look into the soul of the artists, as witnessed by my countless
hours of listening enjoyment. Personally, I'm not sure they would like this...
all laid out bare on the 'net, for all the world to witness. We hope they would,though.
I'll admit this is not the greatest collection of music. But that is not the idea.
There can be no point in coming here to listen to the same music you might be able
to hear on your radio, or television. What is the reason ?
The list represents my listening habits of this year;starting with the most played artist,
1-10. The amount of plays is a deceiving factor;since we bought more than one
album from most of the top artists. Let me clarify, that my 'most listened to'
album of 2007 is Total:/2 (My Mir) , second is Technoir/Deliberately Fragile,
and a memorable third place is Leslie/Mes Coulours .
Coming in fourth is Blestyashie/Belym Snegom, and finishing fifth is not yet
an album.. just a collection of clips and songs from Sopho Khalvashi forthcoming
effort. At least there is hope for a pleasant 2008 on the horizon.
So, there you can see how muliple albums from has altered my final results.
Okay, that being said, enjoy the music !

The year is winding down, and we are getting closer to the release
of a few anticipated albums.
UPDATE:
Tina Karol released her Polous Prityazhenia on December 19,2007.
Tina is a great vocalist, and it was awesome to hear her new song
Lyublu Evo in November.We have only found one place offering it for
sale on the 'Net ,however it would be easy to say there will be more.
Her latest singles sound like she has done away with her overpowering of
her music.The music is still great, and Tina matches the intensity well.
Now, we are stuck with the 'wait' for a CD to arrive from Ukraine..
E-Type released Eurotopia on October 31 !
The latest single, Eurofighter, brings to the world another
fine example of his style of euro-dance-pop that defies current trends.

UPDATE:

Unreal.That said,it's a superb album,and we hope that it will place
E-Type "on the map" in north america.
Paola and Chiara have released their nem album, entitled
Win The Game .It's incredible how good they sound:we find ourselves
comparing PeC to Madonna.Yes, they are that great!

Via-Gra are holding steady with Pocelui in the top 10.
Well, can you imagine my surprise to hear Pocelui as the theme song
for a Russian television show ? Lights out (my reaction)!
They also had a short piece with the girls riding in, and getting out of a red sportscar.
Alright, I am not convinced,,because they had their backs to the camera.
Joking...does russian TV do repeats ? I'd like to see it again!
Good PR though, and the song is fabulous !
We finally got ahold of the Nu Virgos L.M.L. album..seems most sellers
have listed the title under Via-Gra. Wonder why..heh.
The CD also contains 3 videos, which is great to see companies
adding more content to their CDs.
Despina Vandi released Deka Hronia Mazi in early December.
A three CD set ! I want to say, Ethereal music. "Heavenly"
The first two disks are perfect for ambience ..and the third disk
features several new remixes of past hits.
Her new video for Thelo, features Phoebus playing the piano.
Finally, some recognition for him,and the song rocks!

Her 192 album is wonderful;so many flavors of music to enjoy.
The new contract has her singing in english,and she recently did a

BTW, we just got ahold of a video of Blest and Janna performing
a Blest medley at the Russian Music Awards show...
it was so beautiful to see them together,brought a touch of
wetness to my eyes.Amazing. A cherished moment,for us all, we hope.
Leslie is reported to be releasing her new CD, 80 Futur, in late December 07.
The project is a collection of covers of 1980s French hits.Sounds tasty!
Mise Au Point is her current single from the album,and should still be on the
charts when the album debuts.
UPDATE: The CD release has been delayed until Feb 2008.
While there is a version of Mise Au Point on Dailymotion,it has not
found its way onto YouTube ,yet.
So it's really shaping up to be an exciting end to 2007 !
We recently updated our Favorite Artists section to include
the best of 2007,and there will certainly be some more material added
before the year is over..
We are still in the planning stages of adding another page to include
many artists who we really enjoy listening to, yet they haven't released
any new material in 2007.
