Presenting our Top 5 of 2008 ...at right. Hello and welcome to cleaverb!
Tell you what, 2008 started out with so much music from late 2007.So many songs that could have been
in the best of 07,but kinda came into our music rotation too late .
With our growing family, and list of friends, we find less time to search out for music that suits our tastes.
And our language skills are dipping below an acceptable level, but hey(!) real life doesn't give grades.
In reality, 'm not going to keep pace with the motor-mouths of the world, but if you repeat that enough,
I may understand what your point is.Eventually.~smile~
Anyway, these artists represent who we would like to hear more from in 2009.And beyond.
We are close to revealing our lists of favorite albums, and we hit a snag.Only 16 albums in our 1990s
list, instead of 20. But it will have to stand that way.
Here is cleaverb! , hoping that you will enjoy a wonderful Christmas !
This page will soon be edited to place link to our favorite albums pages....
We have gone ahead and opened our newest feature - Retro-Mania!!!
I hope our readers don't get stuck in a time-warp, but it is fun to take a look at old pages, news, etc.
We do have the easy parts done. Now, about re-creating websites...better make some coffee !
We have a couple new videos out in the last few weeks...
watch VIA Gras' latest single
American Woman
and don't forget Blestyashchies' new single
Znaesh Mili
Seems like everyone is doing something 'retro' themed this month...
Tereza Kerndlova
has a new design on her website, to accomodate her new album, Retro.
cleaverb used to be a heavy gamer, even if sometimes we chatted more than we played. For the last few months,we have no greater
passion than writing webpages,of all things! Although I still do not want to post pictures of meself on cleaverb.net,
it still needs a few personal touches...starting with a midi file on my
about cleaverb
which was created and composed by cleaverb!
Also, we added three new videos to our You Tube
. Two of them feature cleaverb! on keyboards, and we found some video to complete the projects. They are:
Love Snow,
and
Menace,
and a third project was from an old cassette tape of a DJs parody of MC Hammers - Can't Touch This -
You Can Touch This
. It was a challenge to stand up, and show our music abilities. Or lack of ability. We're not sure. So for all who ever wondered,
what does this guy do in his spare time? There is some of your answer. I actually prefer an acoustic 6-string guitar,
just don't own one at the moment. As for singing. Ha. I do have an idea of some songs to do for YouTube, if only i could figure out
the video concepts...besides,
we have several projects to work on, including an update to our gamepage.
We will attempt to build the forgotten Monopoly and Scrabble pages...and finish up our movie pages.
We're also looking at adding lists for : best albums, and best websites. We'll also be adding new pictures for the artists
on our Favorite Artists page, and possibly we will re-organize our links page.
Looking through January 2009, we should start creating historic webpages, to give our viewers a look back at
MPlayer gaming service, and possibly early MSN Zone ,too.
And somewhere in this time, cleaverb will add a screenshot page, showing views of webpages from early 21st century.
When they change, they change. you can never go back. At least you can look,again.Soon. On cleaverb.net
The "Top 5 of 2008" playlist should start around the 20th of December...
Welcome to December on cleaverb ! We are working on the site. All the little things...
colors, page scaling... and we do have all pages working in 800x600 and/or 1025x768 resolutions.
Have not found any problems in Firefox or IE7,but the music player does not 'pop-up' in Opera.
That's uhh, one of those things. Everything has worked okay in SeaMonkey also.
We have our top 5 of 2008 list complete now. You could say that a couple of artists we are familiar
with will be in those top 5 ...some might even have a song in our playlist at right.
It's our present to you...no peeking!!!
Check out the new 'skins for our
Archives,
Picture Pages,
and the all new
Wallpaper
page.
With Christmas four weeks away, there is still time for a surprise or two.
Be well .
Return to the Top of the Page
Sincerely,cleaverb
