Welcome to 2009 on cleaverb!
It's like a 'theme' around here, lately. Redesigning, rebuilding, updating...
Alright,so the Google search was slowing down the pageloads.... now cleaverb has a search page!
We have re-designed each page on .net, now we will have to add the new style to each of our
favorite artists' pages.It takes time to come up with an idea, and then find the text or graphics
to complete the design. We have added a 'credits' section, in the lower right corner.
There are some great graphics sites,however, most of our sources are free stuff.
We also make most of our custom work;like our keyboard is an original cleaverb!
Afterwards, we noticed there are a few templates with the same theme,but never seen one used online.
As you can probably tell, we are trying(we hate that word;-) to use smaller graphics,
and trim out the unnecessary html in our webpages. Most pages are full of 5-8 KBs of junk.
While that size doesn't matter much to broadband users, it's faster for dial-up. Does anyone still do that ?
On January 4th, this page was 33 kilobytes of html, and now this is down to 16 kilobytes.
So, basically for this page, what we reduce in KBs of html , we used up in graphics.
We noticed on January 2nd that Janna Friske
has changed her website url, probably on new years day ?
It's the year 2009. And Aqua is going to perform a couple of shows this year! Okay, so they performed a few times in 08.
And cleaverb has just re-created an
Aqua site from early 2000 on Retro-Mania ! Well, we plan to go back and finish the discography section.
Because...well. We have never seen the website before!
We also have uploaded the 1990s era Arista pages for
Ace Of Base
and
Real McCoy .
We will try to add some more 'screenshots' for a few other pages in a day or two...

Favorite albums of 2000s

Hmmm,
we will probably add links to album descriptions , in the near future. If we could just pull ourselves away
from the games...basketball,football,and don't forget the computer games!
And through December, it seemed like every movie we listed was on cable tv. Amazing!
Then ,we started to review our favorite CDs. And we realized that
our CD collection was missing a few items. We do have a good portion of music on vinyl LPs.
So, you will notice several classics in our recent purchases page. After the Christmas rush,
new years is a good week to 'think' about ways to stimulate the economy. LOL
We leave you with the text from December, when .net set a new 'monthly record' of
over 3GB of bandwidth in visitors! That doesn't get any where close to our providers limit
which is about 3 TB.
