As her literature teacher at Victoria School recollects, Vera was an all-star. She danced perfectly,and played the leading roles in performances.She was the envy of her classmates. Here at this young age,she had already achieved more success than she had ever dreamed of. While Vera took courses to prepare for a career as a secretary, she dreamed of being a professional actress.Then, at the last minute, she enrolled at the Rail Engineering Instutute of Dnipropetrovsk. Studying economics.

In November 2002 Vera decided to take part in competition ' Ms. Dnepropetrovsk '. Among the audience, the bright and artistic girl with tremendous blue eyes was an early favorite. It was not necessary for her to pass through all the selection rounds stipulated for others. Organizers of competition did not doubt, that Vera would appear in the finals. But destiny came calling,and fate intervened: at this moment in time the tremendous beauty was called to join the group, Via-Gra.

It all began in 2002. She was invited to a casting organized in order to find a girl to replace Alyona Vinnitskaya and she won. The Producers of Via-Gra gave Vera the psuedonym Vera Brezhneva, after the former USSR leader, Leonid Brezhnev. Vera and Leonid were from the same small village - Dniprodzerzhynsk, Ukraine.
In January 2003 Nu Virgos started performing in the new configuration (Nadya, Anya and Vera) that, due to its amazing popularity, gained the name of "the golden line up". During her career in Nu Virgos Vera expericed a lot, ranging from: the love of adoring fans, blockbuster hit songs and numerous awards,to marrying a businessman, Michail Kiperman. In July 2007 the blonde decided to have a break from the band, which ended in December 2007 with the official information of her leaving Nu Virgos forever. Out of all the Nu Virgos singers to date, Vera stayed in the group for the longest period of time (4 years). Vera was replaced in the group by Tatiana Kotova.

Vera is the hostess of the Russian TV version of "Power of Ten" ,which premiered on January 7th,2008 on Channel One Russia. In May 2008, Vera premiered her new single called Ya Ne Igrayu (I Don't Play). The second single Nirvana came out on 27 October. Vera has wrote a song for the movie "Lyubov B Bolshom Gorode" (Love in the big city) and has released it as her third single in 2009.

More recently, Vera has been acting in movies - (the Titles Translate into) Love in the City(2009) and the sequel Love in the City 2 to be released in 2010.

Vera released her first solo album Liubov b Spacet Mir in 2010.
