After Polina graduated from secondary school she chose a profession in Law. But after two years of schooling she started touring with 'Blestyashchie' full-time and had to abandon her studies.
As the singer herself recalled: "When I was invited to sing in Blestyashchie, my desire to go 'anywhere' does not disappear. Nobody at that time knew that we (Blest) were going to be very popular and start touring 365 days a year. .. Life has changed, but we were still the same people. Maybe that's why it was so easy for me to give up the stage. I have other values in life and I am happy, because for me it was the right choice. Maybe one day I will come back to music, but this will be near the ocean, and more for my personal interests, not for glory. "

Shortly after the second album Polina left the group, and (married or dated) filmmaker Vlad Opelyance (who produced the first video clips for Blestyashchie).She was replaced by Ksenia Novikova.

After leaving the group, Pauline studied architecture, graduating from the Institute 'Free Arts and Sciences'. Yet her attraction to 'extreme sports' was above everything else.
In 2003, on the island of Bali, Pauline began surfing. Every day at eight in the morning she went to Kut Beach, and with surfboard in hand she dived into the ocean. All this despite the fact that the first day she suffered a bloody lip.

In 2004, along with Vasily Kovalev, Polina worked on the program 'Dastupniy(Affordable) Extreme' on MTV Russia. But after half a year she left the program and started working on her own projects.
