(Some of this info comes from the Official Bio page) Alëna started to writing songs(likely lyrics or poems) in childhood and sending them in the newspaper 'Pionerskaya Pravda'.
In her early teens Alëna became a fan of the band 'Kino' and thanks to this interest she learned to play the guitar.
In 1993 Alena started her first group 'The Last Unicorn', where she is credited as the author of her music and lyrics.
The first concerts take place in Kyiv Central Hospital. During the next few years Alena worked as the insurance agent, yet she is always thinking about the creation of her own band. At the end of 1997 she has discovered a new profession - as a TV hostess at the music channel "Biz TV". In 2000 Alena was invited to join the new pop group, VIA-Gra . Alënas singing , combined with 'the dancer' Nadya Granovskaya
proved to be a great success for VIA-Gra. At first she performed as an independent entertainer.
In 2004 Alena signed on with "Universal Studio" label and soon her first album 'Rassvet' was released. A year later the second album '007' represented Alëna in traditionally male role — as the secret agent.
Alëna has brilliantly coped with so complex and male character, proposing to the audience her own version of James Bond music.
The album also contains new visions of singer's famous hits featuring the best DJ’s in the country. February, 2009 the new video "Ya Zdes, Ya Ryadom" has appeared on TV channels.
This video is a sound-track to the Ukrainian action movie "Accidental record".
Later, in spring, Alëna has presented her new video "Vsyo Eto S Nami". This song is from the maxi-single "Envelope". |
